Father and son charged with wounding
A father and son are among three accused of with wounding another.
Marvon Oneal Padmore, 46, his son Shamario Rasheed Padmore and Chad Lee Lashley, 32, all of Ellerton, St George were not required to plead to the charge when they appeared in the District "A" Magistrates' Court yesterday. They are accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Shamar Massiah- Toby on July 27.
The three are additionally charged with damaging a window belonging to Junior Wilkinson on the same date.
Magistrate Douglas Frederick granted the trio $2,500 bail each. The men are expected to appear in the District ‘B’ jurisdiction on July 25.
The prosecution made no objections to bail in relation to the matters.
In an unrelated charge:
A porter appearing on a wounding charge yesterday was granted bail.
He is twenty-one year old Rhudi Tiagjoe Barton, of Duncans, St Philip. Barton is charged with wounding Frank Brathwaite with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to do some serious bodily harm to him on July 11.
Magistrate Douglas Frederick granted him $3,000 bail and ordered him to return to the District "A" Magistrates' Court on November 14. He was also warned to stay away from the complainant.
Barton was not required to plead to the charge.
