A St. Michael man on gun and ammunition charges was remanded to prison yesterday.
Kemar Shane Murray, 26, of Jackson Terrace, St Micahel, appeared in the District "A" Magistrates' Court before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant, but was not required to plead to the offences which occurred on May 13.
He is accused of having a firearm and six rounds of ammunition without a valid licence.
In addition, he faced a simple possession charge to which he pleaded guilty. This offence occurred on the same day as the other charges. Murray will return to court on August 23.
