According to lawmen, Jones, a former Inspector of Police and one of the Force’s more infamous detectives and marksmen, was arrested and charged earlier this week by officers from the Major Antigun and Gangs Unit.

They say, acting on information they received, they intercepted a car at Grazettes Main Road, St Michael around 3.10 pm on Sunday, October 13.

A search of that vehicle was conducted in the presence of the driver, and the bullets were discovered.
