Former Secondary School Principal to be laid to rest

Having made a commendable contribution to the education system of Barbados, one educator who headed two secondary school institutions in his heyday, has passed away.
He is Victor Delaney Griffith.
Griffith died on Monday, June 18th, 2018, at his residence in Benthams, St. Lucy. He was a Former Principal of Parkinson Memorial School and retired Principal of St. Lucy’s Secondary School, now the Darryl Jordan Secondary.
He leaves to mourn his wife Doris Griffith and two of his sons Shawn Griffith and Javon Griffith. His third son Ricardo Griffith entered into eternal rest before his dad.
Griffith was 74 years old.
His funeral service wil be at St. Lucy’s Parish Church on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 9:30 am, with tributes proceeding from 8:45 am. His viewing will be at the Daryll Jordan Secondary School on Friday, July 13, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and from 7:45 am on Saturday, July 14, at the church until the start of the service.
Griffith was a Stalwart Member and former Synod Representative of the St. Lucy’s Parish Church and a special monetary collection will be taken for the development of the church.
