Girl goes missing after leaving grandmother's home

A mother is today praying for her daughter's safe return after she failed to return home on Saturday.

The Royal Barbados Police state that Kimberley Connell of Apt #3, Constant Drive Chancery Lane, Christ Church, has reported her 14-year-old daughter, Kaliah Mary-Ann Connell of the same address as missing.

Kaliah Connell is a third form student of the Princess Margaret Secondary School. 

On Saturday, June 16, she left home about 6:25 a.m. to go to her grandmother Anne Connell of Prior Park, Saint James. She arrived there about 8:00 a.m. She left her grandmother's residence sometime between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the same day to return home and has not been seen since. Her mother reported the matter to Oistins Police station about 5:20 a.m. yesterday.

Kaliah is of slim build, light brown complexion, and approximately 5ft 7" tall. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a red armhole dress with white stripes with a V-neck off-white sweater pulled over the dress, as well as a pair of maroon coloured 'Puma' shoes and carrying a black bag. She frequents the Silver Hill Christ Church area. 

Anyone with information relative to the whereabouts of Kaliah Mary-Ann Connell is asked to contact the Emergency number 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800 –TIPS (8477), Oistins Police Station at 418- 2612 / 13, or the nearest Police Station.
