Update: Police name gunshot victim rushed to surgery

Police are carrying out investigations into a shooting incident which has left one male nursing gunshot wounds.

Sometime around 1:27pm, today, Tuesday, June 11, 2019, police responded to reports of a man being shot in the stomach at St.Hill Road, Carrington Village. On arrival police learnt that a group of men were liming in an abandoned building at the corner of St. Hill Road and Quarry Road, Carrington Village in St Michael, when two males known to each other got into an argument. As a result Stefan Miller of 3rd Ave Nurse Land, Tweedside Road received one gunshot wound to his abdomen. 

Stefan Miller was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by private motorcycle for medical attention.

A man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) this afternoon after a shooting was reported in St. Michael.

Around 1:27 pm, police received the report and learnt that a male victim was taken to the QEH by private motor car. 

The shooting happened at St. Hill Road, Carrington Village, St. Michael.

The victim was hurried to surgery.
