Prime Minister Mia Mottley ran on a platform of a better Barbados for all - with a special concentration on the youth of this country, and she has kept her eyes on that segment of the Barbadian population.
Today, October 1, Barbados' first female leader turns 54 years old.
During her short tenure so far, having taken up office in May 2018, Mottley has been photographed with some of the most powerful persons across the regions and around the world, from prime ministers and presidents to royals, yet on every occasion possible she makes time for the young people.
Reportedly having told a teacher at a young age about her dream to become Prime Minister of Barbados one day, Prime Minister Mottley highlights the youth's achievements at every toss.
On her Instagram, you can see her singing the praises of Robyn 'Rihanna' Fenty, Jason Holder, Hayley Matthews, Jofra Archer, Akela Jones and many more.
Here are some times when Barbados' Prime Minister took a minute for the nation's youth.
