DebateOne has brought out the similarities and differences in the future plans by political parties for Barbados' youth.

When members of the United Progressive Party (UPP), the Barbados Labour Party (BLP), Solutions Barbados and the New Barbados Kingdom Alliance went toe-to-toe as part of a panel at the inaugural DebateOne event held at Courtyard by Marriott in Hastings, the gloves were off and the ideas were flying whether they were met with agreement or absolute refusal.

Topics which came up in relation to the youth were crime, unemployment, free education, tertiary education and bus fare to name a few.

The debate got underway just after 6:00 pm and it rolled from topic to topic.

On the panel were (L-R): UPP Candidate Everton Holligan, BLP Youth Representative Kevon Henry, Leader of Solutions Barbados Grenville Phillips and Apostle Lynroy Scantlebury of the New Barbados Kingdom Alliance.

There was no representation from the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) and the Barbados Integrity Movement (BIM)
