A passenger died on a recent Virgin Atlantic's flight to the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) in Barbados from England.

The gentleman was on board Virgin Atlantic VS 29 to Barbados on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. According to the flight information, the flight left London, Gatwick, at 10.10 am and was scheduled to land in Barbados at 3.25 pm, but it landed at 2.39 pm.

Loop News reached out to Virgin Atlantic for a comment. 

The Consumer Public Relations (PR) Lead for Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd, Anna Catchpole, wrote:

"We are saddened to confirm that a customer passed away on the VS29 from London Gatwick on 4th December.

Our hearts go out to his family and friends and our primary focus is supporting them through this difficult time."

Up to the time of publishing this article, Loop could not ascertain whether the deceased was a visitor to Barbados or a national returning home.
