Homeless man denies robbery, admits to cocaine possession

A homeless man denied robbing a woman of an $800 bracelet but admitted to a cocaine charge.

These were the pleas of Atiba Oneal Farrell when he appeared in the District "A" Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Farrell, according to police, was being sought for questioning in relation to other matters when they searched and found apparatus on him. A bottle, with a hole in the bottom, was found to contain white residue. However, he denied two other charges which allegedly occurred on May 8, 2018:

- that without lawful authority or reasonable excuse he damaged a visor belonging to Dereck Odle intending to damage such property or was reckless as to whether such property would be damaged

 - robbed Tamesha Simmons of one bracelet worth $800

Farrell was remanded until June 21.
