The Barbados Vagrant and Homeless Society (BHVS) is awaiting the outcome of the investigations into the cause of death of 69 year-old Tyron “Pitiful" Stoute.

Stoute is the first suspected murder for the year after his lifeless body was discovered on the compound of The People’s Mart in Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Monday morning by a pedestrian.

He was listed as having no fixed place of abode and President of the BHVS, Kemar Saffrey, told Loop News the society is awaiting word from the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) on whether Stoute died naturally or otherwise.

Saffrey said it would be difficult to say precisely how the BVHS intends to address the death as they are not fully informed on the circumstances surrounding the death as yet. He added when the cause of death has been determined the BVHS will make a public comment.

Police have provided no further information other than to say that investigations into the circumstances of Stoute’s death are continuing.
