HURRICANE IRMA: CAL cancels two flights for September 6

Caribbean Airlines has announced that two flights for Wednesday, September 6 have been canceled due to Hurricane Irma. 

Currently a Category 4 Hurricane, Irma is expected to affect portions of the Leeward Islands. 

The following affected  flights are: 

BW 456/September 06 Port of Spain to St. Maarten Departure from Trinidad 7.50 am
BW 457/September 06 Kingston to St. Maarten Departure from Kingston 2.00 pm

In a release, CAL said customers are advised to visit www.caribbean-airlines.com and check their flight status before going to the airport or call the Caribbean Airlines Call Centres for further details:

Affected customers traveling on September 6 will be permitted to change or cancel their reservations without penalty subject to the following conditions:
• Passengers must have a confirmed ticket issued before September 06, 2017
• Passengers who choose to have their tickets refunded must do so by September 13, 2017
• Passengers who choose to change their reservations must complete their travel by September
13, 2017, unless travel on the original booking was after this date. Travel must be in the same cabin as the original.
• Caribbean Airlines will not be responsible for arrangements or transportation
