The Barbados Labour Party (BLP) was given a clear mandate by the people of the island, after winning all 30 seats in the 2018 general election.

With a wide range of promises outlined in their manifesto leading up to polling day, the Mia Mottley led administration has said it intends to keep its promises, as it also works with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on a debt restructuring plan for the island.
