Loop Weather Report - Easterly wave affecting Barbados on October 18

Here is a look at the weather according to the Barbados Meteorological Services.

Today should be generally cloudy, hazy and breezy with some scattered showers, intermittent rain and possible isolated thunderstorms, as an easterly wave is affecting the island. Meanwhile, a high-pressure system will be building across the island tonight, resulting in it being fair to partly cloudy, hazy and breezy with a few scattered showers.

Winds are coming from the east-southeast to east at 20 to 40 km/h with higher gusts near showers while seas are moderate to rough in open water with swells from to 2.0m to 3.0m. A small craft warning is therefore in effect for above normal sea swells.
