The winning ticket for the Double Draw (Spot 7) was bought at the Rubis Service Station in Eagle Hall, St Michael.

Jason Wiggins happily collected the cheque for BBD $213,501 on behalf of his friend at the Barbados Lottery Head Office in Independence Square, Bridgetown recently.

In a press release from the Barbados Lottery, Wiggins confirmed that the win will make a major difference to his friend’s life. “I am grateful, because I was experiencing some financial difficulties,” the winner had told him.

First and foremost, the lucky player plans to buy a vehicle for work, as well as to start work on a new home. Giving back to the church is also among the plans for these much-needed funds.

Site Operations Manager at The Barbados Lottery, Shelly-Ann Hee Chung congratulated the Double Draw player.

“We are delighted to hear that this is a dedicated player, who has been playing the full range of Barbados Lottery games over more than ten years!” she noted. “This will surely assist our winner in fulfilling his dreams and plans for the future,” said Hee Chung.

And the winner had one bit of advice for other Barbados Lottery players: “Keep trying. Keep playing. Don’t give up!”
