UPDATE: No more shopping at Fairchild Street supermarket for accused

[Update: 3:40 pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2017]

Mark Anthony Davis was granted bail at the sum of $5,000.00, with one surety, to reappear in Court on April 17, 2018. As part of his bail condition, he must keep at least 50 yards away from Jordan’s Supermarket, Fairchild Street.

Police have arrested and formally charged Mark Anthony Davis.

The 45-year-old man of River Road, St. Michael, whose residence is around the corner from the scene of the incident, has been charged in relation to the Stabbing which occurred Saturday, January 13, 2018, whilst at Jordan’s Supermarket, Fairchild Street, St. Michael.

During this stabbing incident, Anderson Bend, a 52-year-old Security Officer employed by the supermarket, receiving a stab wound to the chest. 

Davis is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court, on Wednesday the 17th of January 2018.
