Man injured in St Michael shooting

Yet another person is nursing injuries after a shooting incident in Barbados.

This after a 32-year-old man was wounded after being shot in Whitehall Road in St Michael.

Acting Public Relations Officer with the Royal Barbados Police Force, Sergeant Michael Blackman, provided details on this incident:

"Police are carrying out investigations into a shooting incident on Wednesday, October 31st about 6:50 pm, at Whitehall Road, St Michael. 

"Peter Toppin, 32 years, received injuries to his lower back and was transported to QEH [Queen Elizabeth Hospital] by private motor car."

He also asked the public for assistance into this investigation, by providing numbers for them to contact police:

"Anyone with information which may assist in these investigations can contact police emergency 211, District A 4307242 crime stoppers 18008477 or any police station."
