Man pleads guilty to drugs, enters no plea for gun, ammo charges

A man accused of having 15 bullets and a gun in his possession last week, was remanded to prison yesterday, Monday, October 22, 2018.

Thirty-year-old Shamar Jamal Kelvin Marshall of Blackman’s Road, Carrington Village, St Michael was not required to plead to the charges when he appeared in the District 'A' Magistrates' Court.

Marshall, however, was able to enter a guilty plea in relation to a drug charge.

That charge indicated that he had cannabis in his possession on the same October 20, when the incident with the firearm and ammunition occurred.

Magistrate Douglas Frederick remanded Marshall until November 19 when he will reappear at the Bridgetown court.
