An early morning shooting has left a 42-year-old, St. Michael man dead. The deceased has been identified as Daryl Harris of Barbarees Gardens. 

He was shot at his home. 

Harris was also reportedly shot in December 2018 while in New Orleans, St. Michael. At the time, he had sustained gunshot injuries to both his legs and was transported to the QEH by private vehicle. 

Anyone who can provide any information to assist police in the investigations is asked to contact Police Emergency at 211, Black Rock Police Station at 430-7608, Crime Stoppers at 1800TIPS or any Police Station.

The Royal Barbados Police Force is investigating yet another shooting incident for 2019.

This as police are currently on the scene of a shooting incident at Barbarees Hill, St Michael.

Word of this comes from acting Public Relations Officer with the Force, Station Sergeant Michael Blackman (ag). 

He told the media that a male was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) after being shot:

"Police are currently on the scene of a shooting incident at Barbarees Hill, St Michael. Reports are that a male was shot and transported to the QEH."

Barbados has recorded two murders for the new year, with both victims dying from gun-related incidents. 

The first murder occurred on Tuesday, January 8, at Black Rock, St Michael, where Shaquille Toppin was gunned down.

Ronald Rudder was then killed on Friday, January 11, after being shot while sitting alone at a house located at Ridgeway in the Pine, St Michael.
