Christmas in prison for St Michael man

A St Michael man has been remanded, after being charged for a number of offences. 

Acting Public Relations Officer with the Royal Barbados Police Force, Sergeant Michael Blackman, reports that 27-year old  Dario Akeem Ifill of London Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael, was charged by their Bridgetown Division for felonies committed on two separate occasions.

He said that "he on 23rd of November 2018 about 9:20 pm, committed the following offences whilst at London Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael.

   *Serious Bodily Harm to Leon Lawrence

   *Use of a Firearm

   *Criminal Damage

In addition, he was also charged that he on the 18th of August 2018 whilst at Valerie Main Road, St. Michael committed the following offence:

   *Violent Disorder"

Sergeant Blackman added that Ifill will return to court next year:

"He appeared at the District “A” Criminal Court on Thursday, December 20th, 2018, before Magistrate Douglas Frederick where he was not required to plead to the offences. He was remanded into custody to HMP Dodds and is scheduled to reappear at the said court on Thursday 17th January 2019."
