UPDATE: Son shot, significant other stabbed, police investigating

UPDATE: 

Police have named the victim's injured in this morning's incident which is believed to have been a domestic dispute that escalated.

At Princess Royal Avenue in The Pine, St. Michael, this morning, the shot man's name is Dario Yearwood. He is 27 years old and resides at the residence where the incident occurred. The stabbing victim is Akeen Tudor, age not available, but his address is Godding Road, Station Hill.

It was also reported that a woman received minor injuries during the unfolding of the incidents. Her son was shot, while her significant other received stab wounds.

Both men were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical treatment.

 

Man shot, another stabbed, police investigating

Up to 8:30 am, this morning, members of the Royal Barbados Police Force were on the scene of a shooting incident at a St. Michael-location.

The shooting incident occurred between 6:15 am and 6:30 am, today, Saturday, November 3, 2018.

According to the Acting Public Relations Officer for the Royal Barbados Police Force, Sargeant Michael Blackman, one man was reportedly shot and another stabbed multiple times at Princess Royal Ave, The Pine, St. Michael.

Both victims were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance.

Police investigations continue.
