Man shot in both legs in New Orleans by man he knows

Police have confirmed that two men are today nursing gunshot injuries after a yesterday afternoon shooting in New Orleans.

Originally there were rumours of three persons being shot during the incident however, today police have released the names of the two men who were hit. The two injured men are 43-year-old Daryl Harris of Barbarees Gardens, St. Michael, who received gunshot injuries to both feet and 48-year-old Adrian Todd of Rock Gap, New Orleans, St. Michael, who received gunshot injuries to his right hand.

According to the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, Sargeant Micheal Blackman, the police responded to a report of a shooting at Hinkson Gap, New Orleans, St. Michael around 12:40 pm, where they learnt that two men were reportedly transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private transported after they were both shot by an assailant known to them.

Blackman confirmed it was a man.

Police investigations continue.
