Man stabbed at Fairchild Street

The Royal Barbados Police Force are conducting investigations into a stabbing incident which occurred sometime around 7:45 am today, along Fairchild Street, St. Michael.

That incident resulted in Reco Kirton, 20 years, of Spruce Street, St. Michael receiving three stab wounds to his right side.

Preliminary investigations are suggesting that Kirton was walking along Fairchild Street in the company of his girlfriend, when he was approached by a man who attacked and proceeded to stab him about the body before fleeing the scene. Kirton made his way to the QEH by foot for medical attention.

Investigations are continuing. Anyone who can provide any information to assist with the investigations are being asked to contact CID Central at telephone 4307175, or 4307167. Police Emergency at telephone number  “211”, Crime Stoppers at 1-800 –TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.
