The wanted man is in police custody.

Today, May 9, 2019, police sent out a press release stating that Mario Harris is now in custody.

Loop News understands that he went to the station with his lawyer.


'Mar Mar' wanted by police

A Christ Church man is wanted by the Royal Barbados Police Force.  

He is 26-year-old Mario Leon Harris alias 'Mar Mar' whose last known address is Bartlett Tenantry Road, Sargeants Village. Harris is wanted for questioning in connection with a serious criminal matter.   

He is of a dark brown complexion, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and of a slim built. He has a prominent forehead with the image of two stars and the letters A B A tattooed on the left side of his forehead. He also has an image of a cross tattooed on the left cheek, four tear drops tattooed next to his right eye along with a scar over his right eye. In addition, Harris has a tattoo of the letters MOB on his left arm.  

Harris is advised that he can present himself to the Hastings Police Station, Hastings, Christ Church accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice.  

The wanted man is considered armed and dangerous and caution is advised when approaching.  

Any person, who may know the whereabouts of Mario Harris, is asked to contact Hastings Police Station at 430-7218 or 7219, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station. 

The public is reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons; any person caught committing this offence can be prosecuted.
