Masked man shoots and kills handyman in St John

A handyman man by the name of Roger Omar Moore, alias 'Bubbla', was shot and killed in St John on Tuesday. 

According to reports from the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF), officers responded to a report at Vesta’s Bar and Cookshop  in Bath Land, St. John on Tuesday, August 18 around 12.30 pm. The report said that several gunshots had been fired in the area and a man was shot. 

On arrival at the scene, police found the Moore's motionless body lying on the floor of the shop.

Preliminary investigations reveal the deceased, a 32-year-old resident from Welch, St John, was working in the area when an unknown masked man, armed with a firearm, approached him and fired several shots in his direction. 

He was shot several times and received injuries to his head and back and subsequently died at the scene.

Police have launched an unnatural death investigation into this matter. Anyone who may have information that can assist in this matter is asked to contact the District ‘C’ Police Station at 416-8200, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800- TIPS, or any Police Station.
