Men charged for shooting at police

Police have arrested and formally charged a second man for two counts of endangering life.

He is Nicholas Omar Brathwaite, 36 years, of Lowthers Hill, Christ Church.

These offences were committed on March 30th, 2017, whilst at Todds Land, St. George. Officers encountered two men who opened fire at the police.

Nicholas Brathwaite appeared before Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch, in the District ‘C’ Court yesterday.

He was remanded to prison, to reappear in the District ‘B’ Court today, when co-accused Torion Bryan Holligan, 20 years, of Pool Land, St. John, who was previously remanded, will also reappear.
