Private candidates writing CXC examinations have now been sent to the Barbados Community College (BCC).
The move follows incidents where a shortage of desks for private candidates to write their CXC examinations at an assigned examination centre led to a delay and jitters among some students.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has advised that all Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) written examinations (CSEC and CAPE) to be taken during the period June 1 to 15, 2017, by private candidates, will now be held at the Barbados Community College (BCC).
However, students have been advised that all dates and times listed on their timetable remain unchanged.
The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience caused with the change in venue.
