Motorcyclist loses life in fatal crash

Barbados has recorded a second road fatality in less than 24 hours.

Police have confirmed that a fatal accident occurred after 7:00 pm tonight, Tuesday,  March 5, 2019.

Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss told Loop News that the accident occurred along Speightstown Main Road, St. Peter. 

He told the media involved were a route taxi and a motorcycle. The cyclist died on the spot.

According to Inniss, this road fatality brings the total for 2019 so far to four. In the wee hours of this morning a 19-year-old St. Michael male died in another collision.
