Police release name of man killed in Black Rock

Police have identified Barbados' latest murder victim. He is Lester Holder, 47 years of Grazettes, St. Michael.
Information from police indicate patrols responded to Clevedale, Black Rock on Wednesday, 27 February 2019 about 7:45pm as a result of a report made to Black Rock Police Station by an anonymous caller.
On arrival, police saw a man who reported that he was shot in his right leg by an unknown man. He was attended to by EMT personnel in an ambulance which had quickly arrived at that scene.
Police were also alerted to the body of Holder who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations are continuing. Anyone who may have any information that can assist with investigations is asked to contact Black Rock Police Station at 417-7500, police emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800 –TIPS (8477) or any Police Station. Information will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
Police have confirmed a second homicide in less than 12 hours, today, Wednesday, February 27, 2019.
The second murder victim died at Cleavedale Road, Black Rock moments ago.
The incident was confirmed by the Police spokesperson Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss.
At present, it appears that two persons were shot and one has died. Loop understands that he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Around 11:50 pm earlier today, a 35-year-old male was shot multiple times in St. Martin's, St. Philip. Rushed by private vehicle to the hospital, he succumbed en route to receive medical treatment.
