No bail for two accused of harbouring wanted man

Two persons accused of harbouring a man wanted for murder were again remanded to HMP Dodds yesterday.

Eighteen-year old Toshia Abika Auguste of Harrison's Tenantry, Crab Hill, St Lucy and Niko Nathan Archer of Grape Hall, St Lucy first appeared in the Holetown Magistrates' Court on Friday and were remanded to re-appear in the District "A" Magistrates' court.

Both are accused of harbouring Stefon Greaves on October 30, with intent to impede his apprehension or prosecution, knowing or believing that he had committed murder.

They were not required to plead to the charges.

The prosecutor objected to bail in relation to both accused saying that denying bail would be in the public's interest.

A bail application by attorney-at-law Brian Clarke on behalf of Auguste failed as well as Archer's own application. Both were remanded until December 4.
