No Student Revolving Loans without surety

Sureties and or security is required on all loans from the Student Revolving Loan Fund (SRLF).

Loan applicants have been put on notice.

The SRLF has advised prospective students that the lending policies have changed, namely, the security and surety policy has changed. For further information and to complete application forms, persons are to visit www.srlfloan.edu.bb.

Areas identified for loans include post-secondary/technical education courses of the Barbados Community College (BCC) and other post-secondary/technical institutions locally; Graduate and Undergraduate Studies at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Cave Hill campus; and Adult Vocational Education at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP). Persons can be studying either part-time or full-time.

Those persons who have applied and are awaiting an appointment date can now visit the office at Constitution Road, St. Michael, with the required documents.

Barbadians are reminded that the deadline for applications for loans to finance post-secondary studies at local institutions is Monday, July 31.

Applications will not be acknowledged after Monday, July 31.
