A shooting in Greenfield left two nursing gunshot injuries.

Yesterday, January 20, 2020, about 2.40 pm, police responded to a report of a shooting incident at Greenfield in The City in the parish of St Michael.

On arrival, they learnt that 23-year-old Jerome Antonio Stuart of 8th Avenue New Orleans, St Michael received a graze
to the right leg but did not go to the hospital, while 22-year-old Triston Akeem AlexanderJones of 13 Grooves Cottage, St George, was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private motor car with an injury to his left knee and ankle.

Police investigations are continuing.

Issuing an appeal for witnesses, the Royal Barbados Police Force is asking anyone who can provide any information that can assist with this investigation to contact Central Police Station at 430-7676, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS) or any police station.
