Over 1000 cannabis plants seized in one parish

One thousand, three hundred and two cannabis plants were discovered by police in St. John.

Friday, December 8, 2017, members of the Drug Squad, conducted illegal drug eradication operations in several areas. The plants ranging from eight inches to 5ft in height were seized.

The areas were:

1.     Lemon Arbour - 59 plants;

2.     Wilson Hill - 84 plants;

3.     Claybury - 1104 plants

4.     Venture - 55   plants     

During the operation, no arrests were made.
