Paradise FC closed the gap at the top of Zone 2 in the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Premier League with a commanding 3-0 victory against Britton's Hill FC last Sunday at the BFA Wildey Turf.

The Dover lads extended their unbeaten run to nine games with their sixth victory of the season, characterized by brilliant attacking football and a solid defence.

Britton's Hill, bottom of their group on five points, could not contain the pace and mobility of Paradise’s frontline; particularly the duo of captain Armando Lashley and Dario Harewood.

The mobility of the forwards resulted in Paradise’s opening goal in the 18th minute.

Harewood’s darting run allowed him to evade his marker and left full back Ramon Manning found him with a pin-point pass; that all that was left for Harewood to do is receive and finish confidently into the bottom right-hand corner.

Paradise wrapped up the encounter with two goals in a four-minute spell in the second half.

Harewood doubled his and Paradise’s goal tally on the evening in the 55th minute with a brilliant volley into the top left-hand corner from a Lashley cross on the left.

Lashley then added his name to the scorecard with a brilliant free-kick from 25 yards.

Paradise moves onto 21 points, one behind table leaders Empire SC.
