Pedestrian injured trying to cross the road

Yet another road user was injured on Tuesday.  

Police are conducting investigations into an accident with injuries, which occurred sometime around 2:20 pm, along Collymore Rock, St. Michael yesterday.

That accident involved a pedestrian and a motor car, resulting in injuries to the pedestrian, Margaret Corbin, 63 years, of Britton Hill, St. Michael.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the pedestrian was attempting to cross the road, when she was struck by the motor car being driven by a 37-year-old female. Corbin received injuries to her head, and neck, and was transported to the QEH by ambulance for medical attention. Her condition is listed as stable.

Investigations continuing.
