PHOTOS: Barbadians' finest and Christmas in Queen's Park still a trend

For some this year's installment of Christmas in Queen's Park was a bit lowkey in terms of the turnout, but those who put in an appearance were still there to stop traffic, take pictures and enjoy this Bajan tradition.

Loop saw many parents and grandparents aspiring to keep this practice alive by passing on the excitement and passion to their young ones.

Seeing little boys with canes and rocking hand-painted jackets and vests was a testament to the fact that the aim of Christmas in Queen's Park in Barbados is not merely to show up or show out, but to be unique and bring your own flair.

On the odd occasion that two people donned the same ensemble, the way they wore it was different and it carried a personal stamp still.

Loop told people on Instagram and Facebook to look out for us near the fountain, and they indeed spotted the photo-board and made a bee-line to join the fun.
