Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is working through rainy conditions to connect customers.

Loop saw the workers diligently on the job in the Oldbury area. 

Prior to today, BWA had advised residents and businesses in St. Philip that today, Wednesday, June 19 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, it will be connecting a customer to an 8-inch main at Rock Hall, St. Philip.

Residents of Harlington, Ocean City, St. Martins, Gemswick and the surrounding areas were warned that they may be affected by low pressure or a water outage during the period of planned work.

Customers in the districts were asked to store an adequate supply of water to use during the hours.

Water tankers were dispatched to assist.
