Pilot strike affects British Airways flights to and from Barbados
Barbados is affected by the British Airways pilot strike.
It's now day two of cancelled British Airways flights to and from Barbados.
British Airways flights cancelled between Barbados-London
Pilots with British Airways who are members of British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) walked out for the second day in a 48-hour strike. According to independent.co.uk the strike is over pay and 'it's the biggest walkout in the airline's history, with almost all flights cancelled from Heathrow and Gatwick.'
British Airways flies between Barbados-Grantley Adams International Airport and London-Gatwick.
Those flights were cancelled yesterday and again today.
Today's flight BA2155 was scheduled to depart Gatwick from Terminal S at 11.25am and arrive in Barbados at 3.05pm this evening. And flight BA2154 was scheduled to depart at 5.10pm today and arrive at Gatwick at 6.20am on Wednesday, September 11.
