Nakita Jones, alias 'Muscle Katt', was stabbed while along Bay Street.

Police Public Relations Officer Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss has confirmed the stabbing incident was reported in the wee hours of this morning.

He told Loop News:

"I can confirm that this incident did occur about 4.10 am on Saturday, August 8, 2020. 

On social media, the message circulating stated, 'Muscle kat in QEH Hospital fighting for her life after being stabbed multiple times and her throat slashed at bay street'.

Inniss said that the report is that the female who was stabbed was on the compound of the old Ministry of Health building on Jemmotts Lane, St Michael.

He told the media: "She is in stable condition at the QEH." And he listed the injuries as "stab wounds to her back, chest, both arms and a laceration on her nose."

Jones is a mother of four.

Inniss said that police investigations are ongoing.
