Police investigate bottle-throwing incident which sent two to the QEH

Two persons had to seek medical attention at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), after being injured in a bottle-throwing incident at a transport terminal last evening.
Acting Public Relations Officer with the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF), Sergeant Michael Blackman, provided details about the "reports of a bottle-throwing incident at the New River Terminal," which occurred around 5:00 pm:
"Two persons were injured. Tiana Gittens, 17-years of Jackmans, St Michael was struck in the face with a bottle causing injury.
"Stephon Chandler received a laceration to the side of his head and an abrasion to his right knee.
"Both victims were transported to the QEH by ambulance."
He appealed to the public to provide any information they could to assist police with this investigation:
"Police are appealing for anyone with information which can assist with these investigations to contact Central Police Station at 4307168 or 211."
