Police investigating Grazettes house fire

Police are looking into a fire which left one man homeless.

Sheldon Sargeant-Hoyte is now without a home due to a fire of unknown origin.

Monday night, September 2, fire officers from the Bridgetown Fire Station in Probyn Street rushed to the fire at #98 Denton Road, Grazettes, St. Michael.

The call was received by the Fire Service at 11.27 pm and one hour and 27 minutes later, at 11.54pm, the blaze was completely extinguished. 

The response was six fire officers with water tender three and water tender four from Bridgetown, under the command of SubOfficer Bowen.

Police are investigating this house fire of unknown origin which completely destroyed the unit of Sargeant-
Hoyte. The unit and its contents were not insured according to police.

Police are continuing investigations.
