UPDATE: Police release identity of shooting victim

Update: Wednesday June 27, 2018 8:30 am 

Police are appealing to the public for information regarding a shooting incident which occurred in Orange Hill, St. James on Tuesday evening. 

The incident resulted in the death of 31-year-old Renaldo Foster of Six Mens, St. Peter.

Anyone who would have witnessed and has any knowledge as to the circumstances resulting in this unnatural death is urged to contact Holetown Police Station at 419-1700; Police emergency at 211 or any police Station.

All information will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of a 31-year-old male which occurred sometime between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm on Tuesday 26, June 2018 whilst at Beckles Road, Orange Hill, St. James. 

Details from police reveal the victim was at a residence in Orange Hill when he was confronted by another man. A number of shots were fired and the victim ran to the back of the house. 

His lifeless body was later discovered at the rear of the property.
