UPDATE: Body found in Belmont was 'about to decompose'

Police spokesperson, Acting Public Relations Officer, Rodney Inniss told Loop News that it was the body of 52-year-old Ronald McArthur White who lived alone at his Belmont residence.

Asked what stage the investigation is at at present, he shared that, "Police are awaiting the autopsy."

In terms of the state of White's body on discovery, he added that it was "about to decompose. No decomposition."

Police investigating 'unnatural death'

Members of the Royal Barbados Police Force are currently at the scene of a Cole’s Road, Belmont, St Michael home, where the body of an unidentified male was discovered today.

While public relations officer with the Force, Inspector Rodney Inniss, confirmed the incident to Loop News he could not provide further details at this time:

"We are treating it as an unnatural death."
