UPDATE: Wanted man turns himself into police


Police have reported that Phillips surrendered himself today and is currently assisting with investigations.

He was the subject of a social media posting after he was recorded attempting to break into a house.


Police issue appeal for wanted St. Joseph man

Police are seeking the assistance of the public in locating a man wanted in connection with serious criminal matters.

Wanted is Jason McDonald Phillips, alias ‘Fowl', 'Jolley', or 'Jug', 36 years, last known addresses Suriname Village, Horse Hill, St. Joseph, and Bowling Alley, St. Joseph. He is about 5’8” tall, of slim built, and has a dark complexion.                                                      

Phillips is being advised that he can present himself to the District ‘C’ Police Station, accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice.

Any person, who may know the whereabouts of Jason McDonald Phillips, is being asked to contact the District ‘C’ Police Station at telephone number 4168200. Police Emergency at telephone number ‘211’, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.

The public is reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons; any person caught committing this offence can be prosecuted.
