Police make breakthrough in murder investigation

Police at the Major Crime Unit have made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of the shooting death of Oscar 'Nard' Hamblin.

The 83-year-old of Block 7C Neptune Road Deacons Farm, St Michael, was shot and killed on Friday December 21, 2018 while on Marhill Street in The City.

At the time, Hamblin was playing dominoes in the area when he was shot. 

Information from the Office of Public Relations of the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) confirmed that criminal charges are expected to be laid shortly in the ongoing investigation.
