Police need help finding 16-year-old Chakita

Chakita Amor Medford has been missing since Sunday after leaving her mother's home to go to the beach.

The Royal Barbados Police Force is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing girl.

She is 16-year-old Chakita Amor Medford of 3rd Avenue, Goodings Road, Station Hill, St Michael.

The Ellerslie School student left her mother Coreen Medford's home around 3 pm on Sunday, September 15, to go to the beach and has not been seen since.

Chakita is approximately 5 foot 9 inches tall, slim in build and clear in complexion. She has black, short, straightened hair which has been slicked down; brown, catlike eyes and she has a small mouth, small lips, dimples in both of her cheeks and a long chin, and according to police, she always has her face in a “vex-like” manner.

Her ears are small and are each pierced once.

The Ellerslie School student, who has a heart murmur, walks with knocked knees and slouched shoulders, has long hands and left and wear a size 10 shoe. In addition to Chakita, she answers to Kita or Tallies and looks older than her age.

At the time of her disappearance, her clothing was unknown
