Update: Police release identities of three men who died in Walkers

Two men were injured and three killed in the Walkers incident on Independence Day 2019.

Dead are:

Cecil Webb, 49 years of Lower Walkers, St Andrew

Terry Small, late 40s of Walkers, St Andrew

Lennox Browne, 48 years of Walkers, St Andrew.

The incident which took their lives occurred around 8.40 am, today, Saturday, November 30, 2019.

Police are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the unnatural deaths. When police responded to the Walkers, St Andrew scene they discovered the lifeless bodies of the three.

A 70-year-old, Cuthbert Mayers of Walkers, St Andrew received a wound to his left wrist and shoulder and is hospitalised at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. While 55-year-old Valentine Wellanda Small of Walkers, St Andrew received cuts to the back of his hand. He received medical attention and was discharged.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward and assist with these investigations.

Three persons have lost their lives at Walkers in St Andrew.

Independence Day 2019 has been marred by a fatal incident in rural Barbados.

Police Public Relations Officer, Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss told Loop News at 10.20 am today, that police officers on the scene confirmed that three persons were killed at Walkers. "Yes, I can confirm that."

He said that is all the information he could disclose at this time.
