UPDATE: Police identify body found in St John
UPDATE: January 19, 2020
The Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) has been able to identify the body found at the bottom of a cliff in St John.
The deceased is 35-year-old Jason Hobbs of Apartment #1, #72 Elizabeth Park in Christ Church.
The partially decomposed body was pulled from a cliff in Conset Bay on Friday, January 17, 2020. Investigations into this unnatural death are continuing.

Police are currently conducting investigations into the discovery of a body which was found in St John.
Preliminary reports indicate the discovery was made in an area known as Elbow Bay, My Lady Hole in Conset Bay around 9.50 am today, January 17.
Police from District C received information that a human body was seen on the ground at the bottom of a cliff in the sea. When police arrived they had to engage the services of the Police Marine Unit and the Barbados Coast Guard to retrieve the body. It was then transported to the jet at Conset Bay, St John.
Police have not yet been able to identity the body. The only information available so far is that the body is that of an adult male and it is partially decomposed. Police also indicated they are unsure of the race of the body.
Investigations are ongoing.
