The Royal Barbados Police Force has been able to confirm the identity of middle-aged man who was pulled from the sea at Brandon's Beach unresponsive.
The man, who was fully-clothed, was discovered floating about 6:15 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
A family member came forward to identify the body.
The deceased is 61-year-old Ricardo Everette Nurse of Prince Wales Road, Bank Hall St Michael.
Police had listed his description as having a brown complexion, bald, clean shaven and weighing between 150 to 160 pounds. At the time of the drowning he was wearing black shoes, black pants and a black and grey shirt.
