"Police are seeking the public assistance in locating two men believed to be armed and dangerous."

Police identified the two wanted men as, "Jamar Jamal Greaves, alias 'Scorp', 32years, of Grape Hall, St Lucy and Nemoy Shane Harvey, 30 years, of Halfmoon Fort, St Lucy, alias 'Rat'.

"Both are wanted in connection with serious criminal matters."

Acting public relations officer with the Royal Barbados Police Force, Sergeant Michael Blackman also warned the public not to approach these men.

He added: "Members of the public are advised not to approach these men, but to call police emergency at 211 Crime Shoppers at 1800tips (180-08477) Crab Hill police station at 310-7701 District E Detectives at 419-1737 or any police station."

Both men are from St Lucy. That parish has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons recently, after two shootings in the area in one day left one man dead and two persons injured.
